Meet Dani, Nurse Practitioner 

 

For over a decade in primary care, I saw the same story play out again and again: women came in convinced something was wrong with their thyroid, their hormones, or even their brain.

They were exhausted, battling brain fog, migraines, gut issues, weight gain, or pain.  But labs often came back “normal.” The missing piece?  The biology of relationships. 

Underneath the symptoms, I saw a common thread: women caught in cycles of people-pleasing, perfectionism, and overperformance.  Their nervous systems had been rewired by trauma and chronic relational stress, leaving their cells trapped in survival mode, and this manifested as “thyroid issues” or “adrenal fatigue,” — but at the root was burnout at the cellular and nervous system level.

Our medical system focuses on chasing symptoms and quick fixes.  But real healing requires a bigger picture — the cell danger response, nervous system rewiring, and the stress of toxic dynamics all interact to disrupt energy, hormones, and mood The Good News?  You can heal this!

That’s why our Unbound programs offer a range of support optoins.  We integrate our Energy Scan to identify burnout patterns across 10 life domains with our Unbound Course, which includes individualized toolkits and trauma-aware strategies for nervous system healing and relational resilience. For women ready to connect in person, our Unbound Retreats create space for curiosity, rest, and authentic community.  Last but not least, for organizations or teams, our Unbound Workshops bring these same healing principles into workplaces and leadership settings.

My goal isn’t to push another pill or checklist — it’s to give you a path to meaningful repair.

A big hello!

I'm Leah, and I'm so glad you're here.

The Burnout Clinic was born from a lot of lessons won the hard way. More than once…I have crashed and burned-out in a big way (more than once) from juggling WAY too much in a body that didn’t respond well to hustle culture. I wasn’t just tired—I was done. But instead of giving up, I got curious.

What I learned (through coaching, research, and a lot of personal trial and error) is that energy isn’t just about sleep or spinach smoothies. It’s about boundaries. Nourishment. Meaning. Movement. Pleasure. Stillness. It’s about remembering who you are when you’re not just trying to survive. My goal is to help other women use these same tools to get their energy back without having to learn them the hard way

When I’m not busy at our clinic …you’ll find me outside (probably with my pups) nerding out on podcasts and audiobooks. Or else you’ll find me in the kitchen. I love to cook…and I love to eat!
